I had to have the Wheel bearing`s replaced at 4000 miles,
the warranty covered that but it took three weeks to get them,
(Must have got them from Japan direct.)
Well went today and picked up the Savage, when I got home
I noticed the head gasket was leaking oil.
I will check to see if the bolts on the front and rear of the head are tight.
I hope this is not a sign of things to come.
The more I ride it the more I like it BUT if it is going to be in the shop
once a month i guess I will trade when the 2000 models come out.
I guess I had better order a head gasket so it will be here in 3 weeks.
